Brane recently announced the establishment of Brane Trust in Calgary, Alberta — developing Canada’s first independent, regulated custodian for digital assets including cryptocurrencies. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Success in this role is bringing your unique ability to support the effective and compliant operations of a custody institution for crypto assets. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to client questions 
  • Establishing effective tracking, monitoring and compliance with governing documents; 
  • Resolving operational, technical and discretionary issues 
  • Receive and process account opening documents; 
  • Maintain accurate and complete client records; 
  • Generate client account statements and aggregate reports; 
  • Identify the collection of assets; 
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients to provide excellent client service 
  • Communicate openly and effectively to ensure internal & external stakeholders are informed of key activities, milestone and deliverables 
  • Partner with external stakeholders, including legal and sub-custodians; 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Client Success team; 

MUST HAVES

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of directly-related experience.  
  • Proven success in high net worth client relationship management. 
  • Membership or commitment to participate in CSI and/or STEP. 

NICE TO HAVES

  • Professional and/or industry accreditation, in addition to a university degree. (MTI/TEP certified) 
  • Fintech industry experience; 
  • Blockchain/crypto knowledge/industry experience.
